It seems like the online bingo websites are taking advantage of the social media craze and jumping on board by creating facebook fan pages. There are a number of online bingo websites that now have fan pages where members of their website can become fans and receive updates via their facebook profiles.

I have to admit, that I was quite intrigued by this and so I decided to do a little investigating to see exactly what these online bingo facebook fan pages are all about and if they are worth joining. I logged onto facebook and did a search for online bingo. Two very successful online bingo websites popped up one was Foxy Bingo and the other was Wink Bingo.

I took a look at the Foxy Bingo fan page first. They currently have just over 330 fans and they obviously have a member of staff monitoring the page and answering comments and queries. The idea behind the fan page is more of a marketing ploy but Foxy Bingo seems to be taking this one step further and actually interacting with their fans. The page keeps fans up to date with what is happening on the Foxy Bingo website and they show all their latest promotions in the sidebar. I was really impressed with this fan page and the fact that Foxy Bingo are actually taking this serious and answering their fans comments and view. I suspect that the member numbers for this fan page will continue to rise especially if the Foxy Bingo staff keep interacting the way they are.

The Wink Bingo fan page on the other hand was very disappointing. They had a lot more fans, over 990 to be exact but unlike Foxy Bingo there didn’t seem to be any interaction at all. This fan page is just being used purely to market their online bingo website and the promotions that they are running. There were a lot of comments left by fans but no sign of a Wink Bingo representative answering any of them. It’s such a shame really considering the number of fans this page has especially after seeing how Foxy Bingo were interacting with their fans.

I know if it was me and I was posting comments and not receiving any answers I would be very disappointed and probably start looking for an online bingo website that actually cared enough about their members to actually engage with them. What’s the point in having a fan page if you are not even going to acknowledge them?

Until next time,

Play Safely
