A month or so ago I told you how Tombola Bingo had signed a contract to be the new sponsors of ITV1’s soap Emmerdale.  You may also remember that Tombola were also holding a great promotion where their online bingo players could star in these television advertisements too.  Well it has finally happened and I can eventually announced that Tombola Bingo are now the proud sponsors of the ITV soap Emmerdale.

If you were watching this very popular British soap last week then you would have seen the first of these television advertisement go live and who knows maybe you even spotted someone you know taking part in them too.

These short television advertisements can been seen during the soap’s commercial breaks and all these adverts feature the people who actually play on the Tombola Bingo website which is great.  Tombola Bingo held a promotion where interested players could apply to be in the advertisements and a whopping 700 people applied to see their faces appear on the television.  Of these 700 people a number of them were invited to London where they took part in the shooting of the commercials.

These special online bingo players had their very own green room that was filled with fun and entertaining things to do while they waiting for their chance to be filmed for the television advertisements which actually only took ten minutes of their time.  These lucky online bingo players who are now featured in the Tombola Bingo advertisements said that the experience was amazing and that they had great fun and got to meet some really great people.

This new sponsorship deal is great news for Tombola Bingo and it really will put them in front of a lot of people.   There are millions of people who tune in nightly for this ITV soap and all these Emmerdale viewers will get to see these Tombola Bingo adverts from 7pm every evening.  If you haven’t seen the adverts yourself yet then why not tune in this evening to ITV1 at 7pm and see what you think of Tombola Bingo’s television debut.

Online bingo website Tombola Bingo are the proud new sponsors of ITV 1’s soap Emmerdale. This is an extremely popular tea time soap and it attracts over 6.5 million viewers each day. Just imagine the kind of advertising publicity this will get Tombola Bingo. The competition for the sponsors place was between Tombola and Littlewoods and according to speculation Littlewoods withdrew from the deal.

Tombola Bingo is the UK’s biggest online bingo community and to sponsor Emmerdale is a huge deal. Not only will they be sponsoring this popular British soap, they will also be giving their online bingo players the chance to feature in their adverts. That’s right; you could be on the television in a Tombola TV advert. All you have to do if you want to be in with a chance of being featured in one of the Tombola TV ads is to fill in the questionnaire on the Tombola bingo website and send in a recent photograph of yourself. The closing date for the first stage of these applications is the 13th of October so you still have time to get your application in.

Shooting for the Tombola Bingo TV ads will start on the 24th of October and then again on the 2nd to the 5th of November so you will need to make sure that you are available on these dates if you are going to send in an application form.

This new sponsorship deal will see Tombola’s ads on ITV1, ITV2, and ITV3 as well as on ITV’s online and mobile portals. These ads will start from the beginning of November and run right the way through until the end of January 2011.

Emmerdale has been without a sponsor since the end of September so this new sponsorship deal will be something that they will be looking to get up and running as quickly as possible. Don’t forget, if you are a Tombola Bingo player and you would like to see yourself in an advert on the TV then all you need to do is go to the Tombola website and fill in the application form.

I am not a huge fan of the Tombolo Bingo website as you probably guessed with my last post on their new tv advert. Today however I have a new Tombola Bingo promotion to tell you about.

Tombola Bingo have decided to look at ways of helping people to destress after a hard day. What they have done is introduce a new online bingo game that has been designed to help players relax and unwind. This new game is being called Bubblewrap Bingo and it emphasises relaxation. This game is really quite clever and Tombola have come up trumps with this one. They have combined two great stress relievers and combined them for their players. Just imagine being able to relax and destress whilst winning cash and playing online bingo games.

This new Tombola game is a brand new type of online bingo game and I suspect that many other online bingo websites will be looking to introduce it too. This new game is a 50 ball bingo game and the tickets purchased for these games only have 10 numbers on the. The games will obviously be a lot shorted but Tombola have made sure that these games will be a success by ensure that the jackpots up for grabs are great. The jackpots for these games will range from £250 to £1,000 and just winning this amount of money is sure to destress anyone.

The tickets for the new 50 ball bingo games will cost players between 25p and £1 each and the larger the ticket price the higher the jackpot amount will be. The new games are called Bubblewrap Bingo games and they are set to be extremely popular. I still haven’t figured out the stress relieving part but I do know that if I were to win £1,000 in a game of online bingo then any stress I had prior to this would instantly disappear.

If these new games sound like fun to you make sure that you head over to the Tombola Bingo website where you can find all the details. I am looking forward to seeing how the 50 ball bingo games go and if I have any more news on this topic to report I will be sure to let you know.

It seems as if more and more online bingo websites are looking at new ways of advertising. First of all we had the Foxy Bingo TV advert and now it’s Tombola’s turn to take to the airwaves.

If you are a registered member with Tombola Bingo then you will probably already be aware of the fact that they were planning on creating a TV advert and they have just announced that the new advert has been launched. Before I go any further I should explain that a while back the Tombola Bingo adverts were banned after the Advertising Standards Agency received complaints that their adverts could appeal to children and young adults. Because of this, Tombola had to devise a whole new marketing campaign but I’m not sure whether it has worked to their advantage or not.

In an attempt to try and make their next advert as clean as possible and adhere to all the ASA guidelines the new Tombola TV advert has really gone to extremes. There is no cool music this time round and the actors are all middled aged too. The new advert is unfortunately the most boring and dull online bingo tv advert I have ever seen. Even the BOGOF tv advert does more than this one and that really is saying something. You’ll understand if you’ve seen the BOGOF tv ad.

It’s one thing to try and keep on the good side of the Advertising Standards Agency but does that mean that you have to make terrible tv aderts? I don’t think so and I really think that Tombola need to have a serious think about it and take a look at their marketing staff too.

I have to admit, that I miss the colourful bingo ball and the lively music that Tombola featured on their last advert. I guess it just goes to show that when someone complains and your ads get banned you really do have to take drastic measures to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

If you would like to know what all the fuss is about you can see a clip of the Tombola Bingo over on YouTube. I’d love to hear what you think of the new Tombola Bingo tv advert and wether or not you agree or disagree with me.
