Wink Bingo have been acquired by 888 Holdings in a deal that is estimated to be worth up to£60 million. According to reports it seems that 888 wants to strengthen their position in the UK market and purchasing a popular UK online bingo website is one way to help them do this. In August of this year 888 tried to buy Cashcade but they were outbid by Party Gaming so their acquisition of Wink Bingo is bound to please them.

The new deal that has been secured with Wink Bingo is a very lucrative deal and 888 are to play £11 million up front and the rest of the £60 million will be tied to profits between now and March 2011. Wink Bingo as you probably know is less than two years old and it is a very popular UK online bingo website.
